This morning I threw the die three times, the first time to determine the number of shapes in my drawing.  I threw an eight.

Banana and Asian Pear

The second throw was for my color scheme: Analogous with one Complement.  The third determined my dominant color: Blue.  My color palette was Blue-Green, Blue, Blue-violet and yellow-orange.  Generally, my dominant color doesn’t end up being dominant, but it does determine the rest of my palette.

Sketchbook Drawing: Banana and Asian Pear – drawn first with fountain pen filled with Noodler’s Whaleman’s Sepia ink, followed by watercolor washes.
